AI-native incident management startup Sherlocks AI has raised Rs 7.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by SenseAI Ventures, with participation from Uppekkha.
The company plans to deploy the fresh capital towards enhancing its AI-powered platform, strengthening product development, and accelerating its go-to-market efforts in North America.
Founded in 2025 by Gaurav Toshniwal and Akshat Jain, Sherlocks AI is building an AI-native incident management platform designed to help enterprises detect, investigate, and resolve production issues across cloud-native and microservices-based environments.
The platform uses AI agents to analyze incidents across critical technology layers, including databases, Kubernetes clusters, networks, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines. By automating investigation workflows, Sherlocks AI aims to reduce the time required by engineering teams to identify root causes and restore affected systems.
According to the company, its platform integrates with more than 30 enterprise tools across cloud infrastructure, observability, databases, and other technology environments. Sherlocks AI also states that it follows enterprise-grade security practices, including SOC 2 Type 2 compliance.
The startup currently serves enterprise and mid-market customers, including Fynd, Lokal, and TradeIndia, as it expands adoption of its AI-driven incident response solutions.
Before founding Sherlocks AI, Gaurav Toshniwal co-founded Aasaanjobs, a recruitment technology platform that was acquired by OLX. He later served as Chief Technology Officer at Doubtnut. Co-founder Akshat Jain previously led search and machine learning initiatives at Doubtnut.
