Indian Walker Raises Pre-Seed Funding at ₹20 Crore Valuation From PWM

Delhi-based carry-first streetwear brand Indian Walker has raised an undisclosed pre-seed round from Palette Wealth Management (PWM) at a post-money valuation of ₹20 crore. The funding marks the startup’s first institutional round.

Indian Walker is part of CoFounder Circle (CFC) Venture Studio, a consumer-focused venture studio founded by entrepreneur Darpan Sanghvi.

The company plans to use the capital to strengthen inventory, expand its core categories and introduce new SKUs under its Level Up collection. It also plans to expand its team across marketing, social media and operations.

Founded in 2025 by Md. Sakib, Indian Walker makes backpacks and other carry products for everyday commuting, work, travel and other urban use cases. The brand positions itself in the mid-premium segment, with its core backpacks priced in the ₹2,000-₹4,000 range.

The company currently sells through its own direct-to-consumer website and plans to expand to marketplaces including Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra. Quick-commerce channels are expected to follow as the brand expands its distribution network.

One of its key product lines is the Level Up collection, led by the Stride backpack. According to the company, the collection has sold more than 10,000 units since its launch. The startup plans to add more SKUs and broaden its product categories using the new capital.

Sakib’s journey is also part of the company’s positioning. According to the funding announcement, he previously worked as a Rapido captain and said his experience on Delhi’s roads helped him identify a gap between generic mass-market bags and expensive premium options. He subsequently founded Indian Walker in 2025.

The company has since expanded its leadership team, with Amarpal Khanuja serving as co-founder and chief marketing officer. Sakib recently said the two met through an agency-related interaction before Khanuja joined the company.

Indian Walker is targeting more than ₹100 crore in annualised revenue run rate and a customer base of over 100,000 within the next 24 months. These are company targets and do not represent its current revenue or customer base.

The startup is entering an Indian streetwear and lifestyle market where several digitally native brands have raised institutional capital. Gully Labs raised ₹30 crore in a Series A round in January 2026, while Snitch raised around ₹340 crore in 2025.
