Chiratae Ventures Selects 5 DeepTech Startups Under Sonic Program, Commits $10 Mn

Chiratae Ventures has announced the latest cohort selected for its Sonic DeepTech initiative following a Demo Day held in Bengaluru.

The event saw participation from thousands of frontier-tech founders from across India.

As part of the program, the venture capital firm has committed investments worth up to $10 million across five startups,  CtrlB, Interact AISuprSend, TakeMe2Space, and an undisclosed stealth venture.

The initiative is designed to support early-stage deeptech founders working on high-impact technologies spanning AI, spacetech, climate innovation, advanced manufacturing, robotics, medtech, quantum computing, and digital infrastructure.

The selected startups will also receive ecosystem support through the NVIDIA Inception program, giving them access to AI-focused developer tools, technical workshops, infrastructure benefits, strategic partner programs, and global investor visibility.

Among the startups, TakeMe2Space is developing nanosatellite systems focused on orbital edge computing and Earth observation capabilities. CtrlB is building a serverless observability platform that aims to reduce enterprise analytics and storage costs using cloud-native infrastructure.

Interact AI is focused on AI-powered conversational avatars capable of handling product-aware audio and video interactions, while SuprSend offers a unified communication infrastructure layer that enables businesses to manage notifications across multiple channels using a single API framework. The fifth company backed by Chiratae remains in stealth mode and operates in the vertical AI segment.

Under the Sonic DeepTech initiative, participating startups can access seed funding support of up to $2 million alongside technical and ecosystem guidance intended to accelerate commercialisation and scale.

Over the years, Chiratae Ventures has invested in companies such as Flipkart, Lenskart, PolicyBazaar, Myntra, FirstCry, and Cult.fit, backing startups across consumer internet, fintech, healthtech, and deeptech sectors.
