B2B procurement technology startup BharatTender has raised Rs 1.25 crore in a pre-seed funding round from an angel investor.
The company plans to utilize the fresh capital to accelerate product development, strengthen customer acquisition initiatives, and expand its AI-powered procurement capabilities as it builds a digital procurement ecosystem for private enterprises.
Founded in 2025 by Rankit Singh, Sanyam Jain, and Anshul Kochar, BharatTender is building a technology-driven procurement platform aimed at simplifying sourcing processes for businesses. The startup enables companies to manage procurement workflows, including tender creation, supplier discovery, bid management, contract execution, and payment processing through a single platform.
BharatTender’s platform is designed to address challenges in traditional procurement processes, such as fragmented supplier discovery, limited price transparency, manual documentation, and lengthy sourcing cycles. It allows businesses to connect with verified suppliers, invite competitive bids, execute digital contracts, and manage transactions through secure payment mechanisms.
The startup is also integrating artificial intelligence into its platform through features such as automated tender matching, supplier recommendations, and market-rate benchmarking to help businesses make faster and more informed procurement decisions.
According to the company, BharatTender is currently serving startups, manufacturers, and enterprises. The platform has onboarded more than 50 businesses and over 200 verified suppliers, with early customers reporting improvements in procurement efficiency, including up to threefold reduction in sourcing timelines and 10–15% cost savings.
