YoLearn.ai Raises Seed Funding From ABP Education to Expand Voice-First AI Tutoring

Noida-based voice-first AI tutoring startup YoLearn.ai has raised an undisclosed amount in a seed funding round led by ABP Education, the education arm of ABP Group. Alongside the investment, ABP Education will support the startup with content, marketing and distribution as YoLearn.ai expands its AI-based tutoring platform for K-12 students in India.

The latest funding follows a $500,000 pre-seed round that YoLearn.ai raised in June 2026 at a $5 million valuation. The earlier round was co-led by DataAlpha.ai and White Swan Global, with participation from angel investors.

The company said that capital would be used to strengthen its voice-first tutoring technology and expand its distribution across India’s school and competitive-examination ecosystem.

Founded in January 2025 by Kirti Prakash Mishra, YoLearn.ai is developing an AI tutoring platform that allows students to interact with an AI tutor through voice and visual problem-solving. Students can scan a code associated with a textbook and access an AI tutor designed around the relevant learning material.

The platform supports voice interaction across 22 Indian languages and is designed for K-12 learning, including CBSE, ICSE and state-board curricula. Its tutor can provide spoken explanations and work through problems using an interactive sketchpad, allowing concepts and solutions to be explained visually alongside the voice interaction.

The latest deal also includes a strategic partnership with two ABP Group companies, Headword Publishing and KIPS Learning. Under separate commercial agreements, the companies will work with YoLearn.ai to convert their school textbooks into content-aligned AI tutors under the Headword.ai and kipslearning.ai brands. These tutors will be accessible through the textbooks that students already use, rather than requiring them to discover a separate tutoring platform.

The collaboration covers a network of approximately 25,000 schools and potentially reaches nearly 100 million learners, according to the companies. The products are expected to roll out with the 2026–27 academic session across web, Android and iOS. These figures represent the potential reach of the publishing and school network and should not be interpreted as YoLearn.ai’s current user base.

The partners have also outlined a longer-term ambition to reach 150 million students and train more than 1.5 lakh teachers in AI-enabled classroom instruction. Their broader stated goal is to make personalised AI learning available to up to 250 million K-12 students in India. These are expansion targets rather than current adoption figures.

Beyond student tutoring, YoLearn.ai has developed AI tools for teachers. Its platform includes a Co-Teacher Avatar and a range of AI-assisted tools intended for tasks such as lesson planning, worksheets, homework, assessments, quizzes and classroom presentations. The company also provides dashboards intended to help schools monitor learning outcomes, areas of weakness, usage and student progress.

The startup’s approach is centred on placing AI tutoring closer to the learning material students already use. Instead of treating AI tutoring as a standalone application, YoLearn.ai is developing technology that allows publishers to connect their existing educational content with interactive AI tutors.

YoLearn.ai said it has crossed 200,000 cumulative users across its web platform and Android and iOS applications, where its mobile products are branded as YoTutor.ai. The company had previously said its pre-seed capital would be used to expand its voice-first audiovisual tutor, strengthen its live-sketchpad capabilities and increase distribution across India’s K-12 and competitive-exam markets.

The partnership with ABP Education gives YoLearn.ai a distribution route through established educational content and school networks. For the startup, this potentially reduces its dependence on acquiring individual students directly and allows its technology to be integrated with textbooks already used in classrooms.
