YoLearn.ai Raises $500K Pre-Seed Funding at $5 Million Valuation

Voice-based AI learning platform YoLearn.ai has raised $500,000 in a pre-seed funding round at a valuation of $5 million.

The round was co-led by DataAlpha.ai and White Swan Global, with participation from a group of angel investors.

The company plans to utilise the fresh capital to enhance its AI tutoring capabilities, strengthen its voice-first learning technology, and expand its presence across India’s school education and competitive exam preparation segments.

Founded in January 2025 by Kirti Prakash Mishra, YoLearn.ai is building an AI-powered tutoring platform that combines real-time voice conversations with visual learning tools. Its AI tutor uses an interactive sketchpad to create diagrams, explain concepts, and solve problems visually while engaging with students through voice interactions, aiming to replicate elements of a classroom learning experience.

The platform currently caters to K-12 students following NCERT, CBSE, ICSE, and state board curricula, with a focus on learners in Classes 9 to 12 preparing for board examinations and competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, and CUET.

According to the company, YoLearn.ai aligns its learning content with board and competitive examination syllabi while using AI-based personalisation to adapt explanations based on students’ learning pace, preferred language, and individual knowledge gaps.

The platform supports voice-based learning across 22 Indian languages, including Hindi and Hinglish. It also offers AI tutor personas inspired by different teaching approaches, while partner schools can create AI avatar versions of their own educators.

YoLearn.ai is available through its web platform, along with Android and iOS applications under the YoTutor.ai brand. The company claims that its platforms have collectively crossed more than 200,000 users.
