Thread Factory raises Rs 1.5 Cr in pre-seed round led by AJVC
The startup reports an annual recurring revenue of around Rs 4 crore, with a monthly repeat customer rate of 60%, and has onboarded over 40 manufacturers to date.

Thread Factory, a fashion supply startup, has raised Rs 1.5 crore in a pre-seed round led by Aviral Bhatnagar of AJVC.
The company plans to deploy the funds towards strengthening its technology platform, expanding its team, onboarding more retailers and manufacturers, and building a data-led supply infrastructure for India’s apparel ecosystem.
Founded by Vivek Solanki and Paras Jindal, Thread Factory operates a B2B platform that connects independent apparel retailers with manufacturers across the country. The platform enables retailers to discover designs and place orders digitally, while helping manufacturers gain better demand visibility for production planning.
The startup is working to address inefficiencies in the fashion supply chain, where sourcing is often fragmented and driven by informal channels, leading to poor forecasting and excess inventory.
Thread Factory enables retailers to browse catalogues and make direct transactions on its platform, while collecting detailed data to enhance sourcing decisions and supply-side efficiency.
