Sonu Sood Partners With Unlimitr as Health Partner for ‘Healthy Banega Bharat’ Mission
Founder and CEO Dr. Ruchika Gupta said the initiative is intended to reduce the pressure around perfection-driven approaches to health and encourage people to build wellness routines around their individual circumstances.

Personalised health and wellness coaching platform Unlimitr has partnered with actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood as a Health Partner for its “Healthy Banega Bharat” mission, as the company looks to expand access to personalised health coaching across India.
Under the partnership, Sood will feature across Unlimitr’s digital platforms as part of a pan-India campaign that began rolling out on September 17, 2026. The campaign accompanies the company’s new positioning, “Personal coaching that puts your happiness first,” and focuses on the idea that health and wellness plans should be adapted to an individual’s goals, lifestyle, preferences and circumstances rather than follow a single approach.
Sonu Sood said his association with Unlimitr is based on the belief that personalised health guidance should not be limited to a select group of people. He also said the platform’s approach aligns with his view that people should be able to work towards better health without having to give up the food, celebrations and experiences that are part of their lives.
Unlimitr offers personalised coaching across categories including fitness and training, nutrition and diet, yoga and Ayurveda, sports performance, rehabilitation and therapy, and mental wellness. The platform also lists coaching support for areas including diabetes, thyroid and PCOD/PCOS. It connects users with what it describes as certified and vetted experts to build coaching plans around individual goals and preferences.
According to the company, Unlimitr currently operates across 40+ countries, with more than 1.1 lakh users and 8,300+ expert coaches globally. These figures are company-reported and were cited in the announcement.
The partnership comes as Unlimitr seeks to position personalised coaching as an alternative to rigid or one-size-fits-all wellness programmes. Founder and CEO Dr. Ruchika Gupta said the initiative is intended to reduce the pressure around perfection-driven approaches to health and encourage people to build wellness routines around their individual circumstances.
Co-founder and COO Gaurav Agarwal said the association with Sood would help Unlimitr take its message about expert-led, personalised coaching to a wider audience.
For Unlimitr, the campaign also marks a broader consumer-facing push for its personalised coaching model. Rather than positioning wellness around a fixed routine, the company is using the campaign to emphasise coaching that can accommodate differences in lifestyle, goals and preferences.
The association with Sood is being rolled out through Unlimitr’s digital channels across India as the company seeks to build awareness of its coaching platform and its “Healthy Banega Bharat” mission.
