Slayd Raises ₹1.5 Cr in Pre-Seed Funding Led by AJVC

Fashion discovery startup Slayd, headquartered in Gurugram, has closed a ₹1.5 crore pre-seed round with AJVC, the early-stage fund founded by Aviral Bhatnagar, leading the investment. The fundraise puts the company’s post-money valuation at an estimated ₹16.66 crore.

Slayd plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its team and expand its private-label business, Slayd Originals. The funding gives the startup additional capital to develop both its fashion discovery platform and its own-brand operations.

Founded by IIT Roorkee alumni Sparsh Jain, Harsh Porwal and Kumar Prasang, Slayd is building a fashion discovery platform aimed at simplifying how consumers discover and shop for products across online destinations. Slayd Technologies was incorporated in May 2025, according to public company records.

The platform aggregates fashion products from more than 300 marketplaces and D2C brands and adds nearly 1 lakh new products each month, according to the company. Its proprietary model analyses more than eight parameters to identify emerging fashion trends and products gaining momentum.

Rather than limiting discovery to a single ecommerce catalogue, Slayd organises products around themes and personalised feeds. The company’s current product has also expanded into AI-led fashion discovery, allowing users to search for outfits from social-media content and screenshots, compare products across brands and explore trend-based collections. Its app now advertises features including AI virtual try-on and personalised fashion feeds.

Slayd has also begun using the data generated through its discovery platform to build Slayd Originals, its private-label business. The idea is to use consumer and trend signals from the discovery platform to identify fashion categories and styles that could be developed under its own brand.

The startup says its discovery platform has already built a sizeable user base, while Slayd Originals has begun generating orders. These operating metrics, including user engagement and monthly private-label orders, are company-reported figures and have not been independently verified.
