Investing Philosophy
Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s investment choices are consistently aligned with categories she has personal conviction about, including health, wellness, clean eating, sustainable living, and products she has personally tested and used. Unlike many celebrity investors who back startups purely for financial returns or brand visibility, her portfolio reflects a recurring theme of personal validation before financial commitment.
She has stated: “The brand has to be bigger than you. The brand has to be synonymous with what I believe in.”
This approach of personal use first and investment second is evident in her WickedGud, Nutrispray, KisanKonnect, and Mamaearth investments, all of which align directly with her publicly known commitment to clean eating, holistic wellness, and natural products.
