InstaAstro Raises $12 Mn Series A to Scale AI-Led Astrology and Spiritual Commerce

Gurugram-based digital spiritual wellness platform InstaAstro has raised $12 million in a Series A funding round led by Singularity AMC and Artha Venture Fund, with participation from the company’s founders.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen InstaAstro’s AI-led product capabilities, expand its presence across regional and international markets, and scale its Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce businesses. The company plans to deploy AI for features such as sentiment analysis and multilingual support aimed at making consultations more contextual and accessible across languages.

Founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma, InstaAstro started as an online astrology consultation platform and has since expanded into a broader digital spiritual wellness business. Its platform now offers consultations across astrology, tarot, numerology and vastu, alongside Pooja Seva, remedies, wellness products and spiritual commerce.

Its Pooja Seva offering allows users to book rituals and make offerings at sacred shrines across India, while its spiritual commerce business includes products and remedies linked to its broader platform.

InstaAstro said it now has around 12 million registered users and more than 5,000 verified experts, serving customers across 183 countries. Its registered user base has grown by roughly 400% over the past two years, according to the company.

International markets, driven largely by the Indian diaspora, contribute around 25% of InstaAstro’s revenue, while Tier II and Tier III cities in India have emerged as its fastest-growing markets.

The company has also seen a sharp increase in revenue. Its annual revenue rose from ₹52 crore in FY25 to ₹111.26 crore in FY26, more than doubling in a year. InstaAstro said its annualised revenue run-rate has now crossed ₹200 crore.

The company has expanded its expert network as it has moved beyond its original astrology-consultation offering, with more than 5,000 experts now available across its various services.

InstaAstro’s expansion comes as digital astrology and spiritual-tech platforms in India increasingly move beyond one-to-one consultations into online rituals, temple services, spiritual products and commerce. The online astrology market has been projected to reach around $1.8 billion by 2030, according to industry estimates cited in recent coverage.

The broader segment has also attracted significant investor interest. AstroTalk recently entered the unicorn club at a $1 billion valuation, while platforms such as AppsForBharat, VAMA and Utsav are also expanding across digital devotional services and spiritual commerce.
