Bengaluru-based electric mobility startup iGowise Mobility has opened applications for dealership partners for its BeiGo X4 electric trike as it prepares to begin customer deliveries during the Diwali season.

The company is initially prioritising dealership appointments in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, followed by Pune, Chennai and Panaji as part of a planned five-city expansion over the next six months.

The dealership rollout comes ahead of the commercial launch of the upgraded third-generation BeiGo X4. iGowise is targeting deliveries of 1,000 vehicles by the end of FY2026-27, with the new retail network expected to support sales, test rides and after-sales service.

About iGowise Mobility

Founded in 2020, iGowise Mobility develops electric mobility products based on its narrow-tilting trike technology. The company was founded by Sravan Kumar Appana and Suresh Babu Salla, with the startup focused on combining the manoeuvrability of a two-wheeler with the stability of a three-wheeler.

The BeiGo X4 uses a tilting three-wheel configuration with twin rear wheels and iGowise’s proprietary anti-topple gimbal architecture. The system allows the vehicle to lean during turns while retaining the additional stability provided by two rear wheels. The company is positioning the vehicle for personal mobility, delivery operations and micro-entrepreneur applications.

iGowise says the X4 has a claimed IDC range of 100 km and approximately 100 minutes of charging time. The vehicle also features dual-wheel drive, triple-disc brakes with Combined Braking System (CBS), up to 120 Nm of torque and the company’s 72V iChargeWise architecture, which is designed to support charging through a home power source.

The first 300 bookings are being offered through an invite-only programme at an introductory price of ₹1.25 lakh. Following the initial allocation, the standard ex-showroom price is ₹1.56 lakh. The company has also listed different battery configurations for the X4, with pricing and claimed range varying by variant.

The vehicle has been developed over more than five years, according to iGowise. The company says it has built more than 50 prototypes and conducted over 150,000 km of real-world testing across different Indian road and weather conditions. iGowise has also stated that the BeiGo X4 has received ICAT and ARAI certification and complies with applicable Central Motor Vehicle Rules and AIS-156 battery-safety requirements.

The company says its technology portfolio is covered by 12 patents, with additional applications in progress. Alongside the vehicle, iGowise is developing an ownership-support system that includes AI-led inventory planning and a modular service-on-wheels model. The company says the latter is designed to resolve up to 95% of customer service queries at the doorstep; this remains a company-stated target rather than an independently verified performance figure.

iGowise has previously raised ₹8.2 Cr in pre-Seed funding from investors including ISB Angels, 888VC and Guptaji VC. Earlier funding was directed towards tooling and automation, research and development, production-cost optimisation, working capital and customer and after-sales infrastructure. The startup has also worked with mobility partners for commercial applications of its earlier BeiGo platform.

What’s Next for iGowise Mobility

The immediate priority for iGowise is building a retail and service network around the BeiGo X4. Under its Franchise Owned, Franchise Operated (FOFO) model, the company is seeking partners for an 800-square-foot experience-centre format, with an estimated investment of ₹15–20 lakh including inventory and working capital. A larger 1,800-square-foot showroom format is also available for selected high-demand urban locations.

The dealership proposal includes a base margin of 10% per vehicle, with higher margins linked to sales volumes. iGowise has also outlined lead-generation support, co-funded local marketing for the first six months and channel-finance arrangements. The company has proposed a buy-back mechanism for unsold inventory through its MDL model. These are proposed commercial terms, and dealer economics will ultimately depend on actual sales, operating costs and the final agreements.

Alongside the FOFO model, iGowise is offering a Franchise Owned, Company Operated (FOCO) option for investors who want to finance an outlet while the company manages its day-to-day operations. The company has projected returns under this model, but actual returns will depend on store performance and the final commercial structure.

The initial five-city network covers Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai and Panaji. iGowise has said it intends to expand further across South and Central India after the initial rollout, while also evaluating international markets including Kenya and Nigeria.

The larger milestone will be the company’s ability to convert the product launch into sustained vehicle sales. iGowise is targeting 1,000 BeiGo X4 deliveries by the end of FY2026-27. Dealer onboarding, production capacity, service availability, spare-parts access and real-world customer demand will determine how quickly the company can scale beyond its initial five-city footprint.
