Healthcare AI Startup Consint.AI Raises ₹22 Crore Series A Funding

Healthcare and insurance risk intelligence startup Consint.AI has raised ₹22 crore (approximately $2.6 million) in a Series A funding round led by BIG Global Investment JSC, with participation from Equanimity Ventures Trust II and Seafund Venture India Scheme I.

The company will use the fresh capital to accelerate international expansion, strengthen its AI research and enterprise delivery capabilities, and develop a domain-specific foundation AI model focused on detecting fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) across healthcare, insurance, banking, and financial services.

Founded by Ashish Chaturvedi, Consint.AI develops AI-powered risk intelligence platforms that help insurers, hospitals, third-party administrators (TPAs), government healthcare programmes, and financial institutions automate fraud detection, claims processing, document forensics, clinical validation, and risk assessment.

According to the company, its platform has analysed more than 100 million transactions and helped identify over ₹1,000 crore worth of potential fraud using more than 500 AI and machine learning models, fine-tuned large language models (LLMs), and a proprietary knowledge base containing over 500 digitised clinical protocols.

With the new funding, Consint.AI plans to build a specialised foundation AI model capable of automating complex claims investigations, improving fraud detection accuracy, and enabling faster, more reliable decision-making across regulated industries. The model is intended to support healthcare payers, insurers, financial institutions, and government agencies dealing with large volumes of high-value transactions.

The startup also plans to strengthen its presence across India, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the United States, while expanding its portfolio of AI-powered enterprise solutions for regulated sectors.
