Delhi-based industrial workforce platform Factrika has raised ₹8.9 crore in a seed funding round led by Info Edge, as the startup looks to expand its technology, team and presence across manufacturing clusters in India.

Info Edge approved the investment in August 2026 through an investment agreement with Factrika’s parent company, Udyogtech Ventures, and its founders. The first tranche involves an investment of about ₹8.9 crore for an 18.58% stake on a fully converted and diluted basis. A second tranche, subject to performance milestones, could take Info Edge’s holding to around 26%, with the additional investment expected by March 31, 2027.

Founded in July 2024 by Kshitij Puri and Gaurav Asthana, Factrika operates an on-demand industrial workforce platform that connects manufacturers with skilled and verified factory workers. The platform matches workers with manufacturers based on skills and availability, while workers can accept shifts digitally. Factrika also manages attendance and payments and maintains a digital record of workers’ assignments and experience.

Factrika says it can deploy workers within two hours and maintains a worker show-up rate of more than 90%. The startup currently has more than 10,000 registered workers across over 20 skill categories, according to the company. Its clients include Lenskart, Munjal Kiriu, Asahi India Glass, Jubilant Foods, Epack Durables, PG Technoplast, Hanon Climate, Bidso and Talbros Auto Components.

The company said deployment hours on its platform are growing 50% to 70% month on month. Factrika also claims workers can increase their earnings by 20% to 30% through progression across skill levels. These figures are company-reported.

Factrika is operating across industrial clusters including Bhiwadi, Manesar, Bawal, Noida and Bahadurgarh.

The company estimates that Indian factories face a daily worker shortage of 20% to 25%, which it attributes partly to fragmented and contractor-led staffing models. Factrika is targeting what it estimates to be a $23 billion manufacturing workforce opportunity in India. Both the workforce shortage and market-size figures are estimates provided by the company.

Info Edge’s investment disclosure also shows that Factrika had an unaudited turnover of about ₹3.69 crore as of March 31, 2026, providing an additional indication of the company’s early-stage scale at the time of the investment.
