Biotechnology startup ELMED Life Sciences has raised $2.7 million (around ₹25 crore) in a Series A funding round backed by AgriSURE Fund, managed by NABVENTURES.
The newly secured capital will be directed towards expanding production capabilities, advancing research initiatives, and strengthening the company’s distribution footprint across both domestic and international markets.
Founded by Pruthivin Reddy Madduri along with co-founder Nikhil Konkathi, ELMED Life Sciences operates in the microbiome space, developing probiotic-based solutions across sectors including animal health, agriculture, aquaculture, and human wellness.
Its offerings are designed to enhance productivity and sustainability through biological alternatives.
