Strategic Capital Deployment & Expansion Plans

Boldfit plans to use the new capital to scale beyond its established e-commerce footprint into an omnichannel sports brand. Key focus areas for deployment include:

  • Nationwide Retail Footprint: Expanding physical retail presence and store distribution across major Indian metro cities and Tier-II hubs.
  • Domestic Manufacturing & Supply Chain: Investing in centralized manufacturing capabilities and supply chain technology to ensure product consistency and innovation.
  • Product R&D: Accelerating new product development across performance sportswear, footwear, exercise equipment, fitness accessories, and nutritional supplements.
  • Inorganic Growth: Evaluating selective strategic acquisitions to expand category coverage and acquire specialized operational capabilities.

“Pallav has achieved what few direct-to-consumer founders are able to manage—rapid, category-defining scale anchored by profitability,” noted Madhu Lunawat, Founder and Whole-time Director at The Wealth Company Asset Management.

High Growth Trajectory Anchored by Profitability

Founded in 2018 by Pallav Bihani and Aasshna Guptaa, Boldfit has grown rapidly while maintaining strong unit economics. The brand serves over 2 crore customers annually with a catalogue spanning more than 400 products.

Indian international cricketer KL Rahul joined Boldfit as an investor and brand ambassador, strengthening the brand’s visibility in sports performance categories.

The brand has also onboarded former Indian tennis champion Sania Mirza among its marquee backers.

Broader Sector Dynamics in India’s Sports Ecosystem

The Boldfit funding deal highlights growing investor interest in India’s sports, activewear, and fitness market:

  1. Agilitas Sports: In June 2026, former Puma India MD Abhishek Ganguly’s sportswear platform Agilitas raised ₹225 crore from Nexus Venture Partners and Zerodha’s Rainmatter.
  2. PlayBlue: In July 2026, sports retail platform PlayBlue secured $2.7 million in seed funding from Centre Court Capital, MIXI Global, and WEH Ventures to build out an omnichannel sports retail store network.

As consumer demand shifts toward active lifestyles, Boldfit’s Series B round positions the company to transform from an online-first D2C brand into an integrated, domestic sports manufacturing and retail powerhouse.
