Amaani Raises $5 Million Series A Led by BECO Capital
The fresh capital will be used to expand AÏZA across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), with Saudi Arabia identified as the priority market for the next phase.

Dubai-based beauty and wellness company Amaani, the parent company of Middle Eastern beauty brand AÏZA, has raised $5 million in Series A funding in a round led by BECO Capital, with participation from Homegrown Ventures and Peak XV’s Surge.
The latest round takes Amaani’s total funding to $8 million, following a $3 million seed round led by Peak XV’s Surge in 2025.
Founded in 2023 by Shubham Poddar, Amaani launched AÏZA in December 2024. Shubham previously worked as an investor at Sequoia Capital India, where he focused on investments across sectors including fintech, foodtech and proptech in the Middle East.
AÏZA develops skincare and haircare products inspired by ingredients, rituals and beauty traditions associated with the Arab world. Its formulations incorporate regional ingredients including dates, black seed, bakhoor, sidr, frankincense and saffron, combined with active ingredients and developed through laboratories in Italy, Japan and South Korea, according to BECO Capital.
The brand’s portfolio includes products such as Sukkar Rush, a lip treatment; Scent Storm, a bakhoor and rose hair mist; and Date Setter, a brow and lash serum. AÏZA says its formulations are vegan, cruelty-free and alcohol-free and meet Clean at Sephora standards.
The fresh capital will be used to expand AÏZA across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), with Saudi Arabia identified as the priority market for the next phase. The company plans to launch AÏZA at Ulta Beauty stores in Red Sea Mall in Jeddah and Riyadh Park in Riyadh at the end of September, followed by planned expansion into Kuwait and Qatar in the fourth quarter. The funding will also support product development, hiring and the technology infrastructure behind the business.
AÏZA said its net revenue grew more than ninefold year-on-year during the first half of 2026, as the brand moved from a primarily digital-first model into regional retail. The figure is company-reported.
The brand is currently available through its own website, Ounass and Ulta Beauty in the UAE. AÏZA also says it ranks among the top 10 brands at Ulta Beauty in the UAE, across an assortment of more than 300 global and regional brands. This ranking is based on company-reported performance.
The latest round also marks BECO Capital’s entry as a lead investor in Amaani. BECO said its investment reflects its focus on consumer and retail businesses in the Gulf and its interest in brands built in the region that can expand beyond their home markets.
