Venture capital firms Accel and Prosus have announced investments in 6 Indian startups under their Atoms X programme.
The selected ventures are building across frontier sectors including clean air systems, space technology, cancer detection, senior fitness, and brain-computer interfaces.
As part of the partnership, Prosus is co-investing alongside Accel in each company, with funding commitments ranging from $200,000 to $1 million per investor, allowing startups to raise up to $2 million each.
The cohort was chosen from a large applicant pool of more than 2,000 startups. Among those selected are Praan, which focuses on air infrastructure solutions; QOSMIC, working on satellite communication; Dognosis, developing alternative cancer diagnostics; and Ethereal Exploration Guild, which is building reusable space launch systems.
