Aamra Seniors Club raises $150K in pre-seed round

Gurugram-based eldercare startup Aamra Seniors Club has secured $150,000 in a pre-seed funding round from a group of angel investors.

The company said it will use the fresh capital to improve product-market fit, build its preventive ageing framework, and expand its senior engagement centres.

Founded in 2025 by Sripriya Yegneswaran and Dr. Akanksha Saxena, Aamra Seniors Club focuses on preventive eldercare through structured physical, cognitive, and social engagement programmes. The startup currently operates its first centre in Gurgaon.

The company has created a non-residential day space for adults aged 60 and above, designed to support active ageing and reduce social isolation. Its model combines routine-based engagement with wellness support in a community setting.

Aamra offers daily health check-ins, physiotherapy sessions, nutrition support, creative learning activities, memory-focused sessions, and social interactions as part of its programme. The centre also provides wheelchair accessibility and transport support within Gurgaon.

The startup said it has recorded more than 90% member retention at its existing centre, reflecting continued participation from its users. It is also building the Aamra CARE protocol, a framework intended to assess and track physical stability, cognitive engagement, and social connectedness among seniors.
