Zenergize Raises $4 Mn Pre-Series A Funding Led by Giraffe Studios

Gurugram-based deep-tech power electronics startup Zenergize Technologies has raised $4 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Giraffe Studios, with participation from a group of industrial entrepreneurs, angel investors and existing backers.

The round comprises a combination of equity and venture debt. Giraffe Studios, which had previously invested in the company, has also increased its stake.

The fresh capital will be used to expand manufacturing capacity, strengthen engineering and R&D, grow Zenergize’s nationwide sales and service network and build capabilities to serve large enterprise and OEM customers. The company is also developing additional products for the electric mobility, renewable energy and energy-storage markets.

Founded in September 2024 by Navneet Daga and Veer Karan Goyal, Zenergize had spent about four and a half years on R&D before moving into commercialisation. The company develops Silicon Carbide (SiC)-based power electronics for applications across electric mobility and renewable energy.

Its current portfolio includes AC and DC EV chargers and solar inverters, with its DC charging range extending up to 240 kW. Zenergize says it has developed India’s first indigenous SiC-based DC fast-charger and solar-inverter platforms. This is a company claim. Its EV chargers have received automotive certifications, while its solar inverters have received BIS certification.

The company’s products are designed, developed and manufactured in India, with Zenergize saying that most components are sourced domestically apart from semiconductor components. It has built an integrated technology stack spanning hardware, firmware, embedded software and digital control systems, allowing it to customise products for enterprise and OEM customers.

Silicon Carbide is a wide-bandgap semiconductor technology increasingly used in power-conversion applications because it can support higher efficiency and power density than conventional silicon-based systems. Zenergize is applying the technology to areas including EV charging, solar power and energy storage.

The startup has reported rapid commercial traction following the launch of its products. Zenergize said it has reached an annual revenue run rate of more than ₹30 crore and an order book exceeding ₹150 crore within a year of commercialisation.

According to co-founder and CEO Navneet Daga, production capacity has now become the company’s primary constraint, with demand running ahead of its ability to supply. The latest funding will therefore be used in part to increase manufacturing capacity and enable the company to fulfil larger customer orders.

Zenergize is targeting an annual revenue run rate of more than ₹100 crore in its next phase of growth, supported by manufacturing expansion, new product launches and a wider sales and service network.

The company currently works with large bus and truck OEMs, charging aggregators, commercial charging operators and logistics companies in its EV charging business. In solar, Zenergize said it works with three of India’s top four EPC players and is building a distribution network to reach smaller engineering, procurement and construction companies.

Beyond its existing products, Zenergize is developing hybrid inverters and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) as it expands its technology portfolio. The company intends to remain focused on energy transition, energy storage and electric mobility while adding further power-electronics products.

The latest funding has attracted a notable group of industrial and business leaders, including Nikhil Sawhney of Triveni Turbine, Varun Agarwal of Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases, Shyam Bagri of Bagrry’s Holdings, Raoul Bajaj of Trafigura, angel investor Sunil Kalra, Ajith Pai and Sandeep Barasia, formerly of Delhivery, Nitin Jain of Neo Group and Hemant Daga of Neo Bank, among others.

The company has also been building partnerships around its technology. In March 2026, Zenergize partnered with Infineon to integrate Infineon’s wide-bandgap power semiconductors, including SiC technology, into its energy solutions. The companies said the partnership was focused on product and technology integration and did not involve a joint venture.
