YOGa Clean Air Raises ₹20 Cr in First External Funding Round Led by Info Edge Ventures

Clean-tech company YOGa Clean Air has raised ₹20 crore in its first external funding round, led by Info Edge Ventures, with participation from Eternal founder Deepinder Goyal and Three Words Capital.

The transaction comprises ₹10 crore in primary capital, which will be invested into the company, and another ₹10 crore through secondary transactions.

The primary capital will be used to strengthen YOGa’s presence in existing markets, expand into additional Tier-I and Tier-II cities and deploy its air-quality systems across new use cases, including public transportation and other environments.

YOGa began as a clean-air concept in 2010 and was formally incorporated as YOGAN Solutions Pvt Ltd in 2019 by Sachin Panwar, Deepak Raina and Gaurav Nagar. The company develops indoor air-quality systems designed to manage an entire enclosed environment rather than relying only on conventional room-level air purifiers.

Its flagship Clean Air Bubble technology filters incoming outdoor air and maintains slightly higher air pressure inside a building. The approach is designed to reduce the entry of polluted air through doors, windows and other openings while also managing carbon dioxide levels inside the space.

YOGa’s systems are deployed across homes and institutions, including schools, hospitals, offices and gyms. The company says it currently serves more than 5,000 families and institutions across 11 Indian cities. Its installations have also included government and institutional facilities.

The company holds two patents related to its technology and says its air-quality systems have been validated through work involving IIT DelhiProfessor Mukesh Khare of IIT Delhi serves as YOGa’s non-executive chairman.

YOGa has historically followed a largely bootstrapped and referral-driven growth model. The company says customers have generated additional business through referrals, allowing it to expand without relying heavily on conventional marketing and sales channels.

The business has also reached profitability before raising institutional capital. Financial data for the year ended March 2025 reportedly shows around ₹13 crore in revenue and ₹67 lakh in net profit, with revenue increasing about 64% year-on-year.

Founder and CEO Sachin Panwar has said the company is targeting ₹100 crore in revenue this year as it expands into new markets and customer segments.

YOGa’s customer mix is also shifting towards larger commercial, institutional and real-estate customers, alongside its residential base. The company is now looking to deepen these segments while expanding geographically.

The company is also exploring applications beyond homes and conventional buildings, including public transportation and other environments. Such deployments could broaden the company’s addressable market but would require its technology to operate under different engineering and operational conditions from fixed indoor installations.
