Unveilr AI Raises ₹16.7 Crore Pre-Seed Funding From AJVC
With the new capital, Unveilr plans to expand its engineering team, strengthen its AI-agent capabilities and build sales operations across India, the UAE and the US.

Mumbai-based AI search and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) startup Unveilr AI has raised ₹16.7 crore in pre-seed funding from early-stage venture capital firm AJVC.
The startup plans to use the capital to expand its engineering capacity, develop its AI agents and build its sales organisation across India, the UAE and the US.
Founded by Sanditya Srivastava and launched in February 2026, Unveilr helps B2B and consumer brands improve their visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered search platforms, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude. The company also tracks visibility across Grok and Google’s AI search surfaces.
Unveilr combines traditional search engine optimisation with AEO through a managed-service model rather than selling only a software dashboard. Its AI agents monitor how brands appear in AI-generated answers, identify buyer queries where competitors are being recommended and analyse the sources cited by AI engines. Its SEO and AEO specialists then work on content, technical improvements, publishing and brand authority to improve the likelihood of being surfaced in those answers.
The company is targeting a change in how consumers discover products and services. As users increasingly use AI platforms and Google’s AI Overviews to research businesses, products and services, brands are seeking visibility not only in conventional search results but also within AI-generated answers. Unveilr says an answer may recommend only a small number of brands for a particular query, making citations and mentions an increasingly relevant acquisition channel.
Unveilr says customers can begin seeing results within the first month. In one engagement with an Indian B2B legal-services platform, the company claims AI-sourced traffic increased 4.7 times, leads increased fivefold and ChatGPT citations rose by about 80%. For a D2C customer, it said organic search accounts for about 27% of total revenue. These figures are company-reported and have not been independently verified.
Unveilr has worked with more than 10 B2B and B2C brands since launching in February, according to AJVC’s investment commentary.
The company has recently begun expanding its agency-partnership model. It opened three partnership slots for agencies in India and Dubai across web development, PR, paid media, branding and development, allowing them to offer SEO and AEO services without building dedicated teams internally. Unveilr said the next intake is expected in the first quarter of 2027. Its latest update said two of the three initial slots had been taken, with one remaining.
The company’s longer-term focus is on the emerging role of AI agents in researching, comparing and eventually transacting on behalf of consumers, which it expects to increase the importance of visibility within AI-generated answers.
