The Wedding Company raises $2.75 Mn seed round led by Wellingdon Advisors
The startup claims, its service order value grew from ₹51 crore in FY25 to ₹115 crore in FY26, reflecting a 125% increase year-on-year.

Bengaluru-based wedding planning platform The Wedding Company has raised $2.75 million (around ₹25 crore) in a seed funding round led by Wellingdon Advisors LLP.
The round also saw participation from LVX, Tremis Capital, and several angel investors, including Vivek Mathur, Rahul Garg, and Apurva Patel.
The fresh capital will be used to strengthen the platform’s wedding services portfolio, enhance category management capabilities, and expand its network of vendor partners to ensure scalable and consistent service delivery across markets.
Founded in 2023 by Pawan Gupta and Rahul Namdev, The Wedding Company operates as a tech-enabled end-to-end wedding planning and execution platform. The startup offers services across venues, décor, catering, photography, logistics, entertainment, and other wedding-related categories through a network of more than 2,000 verified vendors across multiple Indian cities.
The latest funding comes less than a year after the company raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round in July 2025.
The Wedding Company is focused on bringing structure, transparency, and convenience to India’s highly fragmented wedding industry, which is estimated to be worth over $130 billion. The startup aims to provide couples and families with a single platform for discovering, planning, and managing weddings seamlessly.
According to the company, its service order value grew from ₹51 crore in FY25 to ₹115 crore in FY26, reflecting a 125% increase year-on-year. The startup now aims to achieve ₹350 crore in service orders during FY27, supported by an expected 1,500 new wedding bookings.
