Mobile gaming startup Spill Games has secured $3.1 million in a seed funding round co-led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital.
The funding will be used to scale its portfolio of live and upcoming titles, deepen its internal technology stack, and selectively expand its team as the company looks to accelerate growth.
Founded in 2024 by Om Misra,Tapan Ranjan, and Harsh Garg, Spill Games is a Bengaluru-based mobile gaming studio focused on building casual and puzzle games for a global audience. The startup leverages its proprietary Spillway engine and internal tooling to enable rapid game development and scaling.
The company follows a “fast launch, iterate later” approach, using data-driven insights and player feedback to refine its games post-launch. Its in-house engine helps modularise key functions such as analytics, retention, monetisation, and live operations, allowing it to ship games up to four times faster than traditional studios while maintaining capital efficiency.
Spill Games currently operates in the casual and puzzle gaming segment with a portfolio of five live titles, including Cozy Finds, Sticker by Number, and Zen Math Crossword, with three of its games already achieving positive unit economics.
The startup generates revenue through a mix of in-game advertising and in-app purchases, with a significant portion of its user base coming from global markets such as the US, Brazil, and Japan. Over the next 18 months, it plans to test more than 20 additional prototypes across casual and hybrid-casual formats while expanding its monetisation strategy beyond ad-led models.
Operating in a rapidly growing market projected to exceed $107 billion by 2026, Spill Games competes with global players such as Scopely, Zynga, Tripledot Studios, King, and Playrix.
