Delhi-based homegrown sneaker brand Zaydn has raised $681,000 (around ₹5.7 crore) in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), with participation from BeyondSeed and other angel investors.

The fresh capital will be used to increase inventory and manufacturing capacity, strengthen working capital and expand Zaydn’s presence across its D2C channel and major online marketplaces. The company will also invest in product development, branding, technology and hiring.

Founded in 2022 by Ankit Dass, with Vidushi Chaudhary later joining as co-founder, Zaydn makes design-focused sneakers targeting Gen-Z and millennial consumers.

The brand combines trend-led designs with features including wider toe boxes, lightweight TPR soles, dual cushioning and memory-foam insoles. Its products are positioned in the mass-premium segment, with several models priced around ₹1,299-₹1,349.

Zaydn has built in-house manufacturing capabilities, giving it greater control over production, quality and pricing. The company plans to further expand capacity with the latest funding.

Its products are sold through its own D2C channel as well as marketplaces including Myntra, Amazon and Nykaa Fashion.

Zaydn said it has crossed a ₹10 crore annual revenue run rate, with monthly sales of around ₹1 crore, as it expands its digital-first business among younger consumers.
