Ringg Raises $10 Mn From Peak XV in Series A Extension; Total Round Reaches $15.5 Mn

Bengaluru-based enterprise voice AI startup Ringg AI has raised $10 million from Peak XV Partners in an extension of its Series A funding round, taking the total capital raised in the round to $15.5 million. Existing investors Arkam Ventures and Capital 2B also participated in the latest round.

Ringg had previously raised $5.5 million in its Series A in January 2026, in a round led by Arkam Ventures with participation from Groww Founder Fund, Kunal Shah, Whitecap Ventures and Capital 2B.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen Ringg’s enterprise AI platform, expand its voice, WhatsApp and browser-based AI agents, invest in proprietary AI models and its context graph, and accelerate its expansion across India and international markets.

Founded in 2023 by Siddharth Shankar Tripathi, Kali Charan Vemuru and Utkarsh Shukla, Ringg builds AI agents that automate business conversations and workflows. Its customers include CRED, Flipkart, Practo, Groww and Policybazaar, with the company serving businesses across sectors including healthcare, fintech, banking, marketplaces and IT.

Ringg currently processes around 20 million call attempts a month, with voice accounting for more than 70% of its business, according to the company. Its voice agents are deployed across about 1,200 Practo clinics, where they handle tasks such as appointment booking and patient follow-ups.

However, the company is increasingly looking beyond voice calls. Ringg is expanding into chat, WhatsApp and browser-based agents, with the aim of moving from simple conversational automation to AI agents that can actually complete business tasks.

The startup is targeting workflows including healthcare appointment booking, abandoned-cart recovery for ecommerce businesses, and onboarding and KYC processes for fintech companies. The shift reflects Ringg’s strategy of moving towards more complex and outcome-driven enterprise workflows rather than competing primarily on the cost of automated calls.

Ringg originally started as DesiVocal, a text-to-speech company, before shifting towards enterprise voice AI. The founders moved up the technology stack after finding that developing and training speech models at scale was expensive, eventually focusing on AI agents and orchestration for businesses. CRED was among its early customers, helping the company validate the enterprise use case.

The company says its platform combines proprietary speech technology with an orchestration layer that can work across different AI models depending on the task and cost requirements. This allows enterprises to deploy agents across multiple communication channels rather than relying on a single underlying model.

Ringg’s latest funding comes amid growing investor interest in voice AI in India, where startups are increasingly moving beyond traditional call-centre automation towards AI agents capable of handling complete business workflows. Peak XV itself has been increasing its exposure to the sector, including its investment in voice AI infrastructure company Vapi earlier this year.

Ringg currently has a team of around 40 employees and is expanding beyond India, with business across markets including the US and Middle East.
