PlutoPe, a DeFi startup offering a non-custodial crypto wallet, has raised $500,000 in a pre-seed round led by Manit Gupta.
The funds will support global expansion, deeper reach in emerging markets, and faster rollout of crypto-first financial tools.
Founded in 2022 by Kumar Chetan Tyagi, PlutoPe combines traditional finance simplicity with decentralized infrastructure. Its platform offers a secure wallet, multi-chain swaps, real-time remittances, and a global crypto debit card.

PlutoPe aims to remove barriers to digital finance through user-first, decentralized solutions. The startup plans to launch crypto debit cards across MENA, SEA, and LATAM, a merchant app, and a one-tap on-ramp for Indian users.
The company reports 9% monthly user growth, 65% retention, and $14.5M+ in processed swaps. It is building partnerships with stablecoin issuers, L1 networks, and modern banking institutions.
