Paediatric Healthcare Brand Primerry Raises ₹7.1 Crore in Pre-Seed Funding
The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its research and development pipeline, build out its founding team and expand distribution across key markets in India.

Mumbai-based paediatric healthcare brand Primerry has raised ₹7.1 crore (around $760,000) in a pre-seed funding round as it looks to build a portfolio of everyday healthcare products for children.
The round saw participation from investors including Ashish Kacholia and Lashit Sanghvi, along with angel investors Mohit Sadaani, Hitesh Dhingra, Ajay Mehra and Samir Palod, as well as select family offices. The funding was first announced in March 2026 under the startup’s earlier name, RN Kids. The company is now operating under the Primerry brand.
Founded by entrepreneur Rushabh Nandu and paediatrician Dr. Nihar Parekh in September 2025, Primerry is developing healthcare and wellness products for children aged two to 14. The portfolio is focused on everyday needs such as growth, immunity, gut health and cough and cold concerns, with an emphasis on taste, ease of use and clinical credibility.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its research and development pipeline, build out its founding team and expand distribution across key markets in India. Recent reports also indicate that product development and clinical expertise are among the areas the company intends to strengthen.
Primerry’s planned portfolio comprises eight SKUs, which will be rolled out in phases and priced between ₹499 and ₹1,499. The products will initially be sold through the company’s direct-to-consumer platform, with expansion into quick-commerce channels planned within the first year.
The startup also plans to build an offline distribution network through pharmacies, paediatric clinics and mother-and-baby specialty stores, beginning with metropolitan and Tier-1 markets.
Alongside its healthcare portfolio, Primerry has launched PocDoc, a customisable carry case designed to help children carry their Primerry essentials. The company is positioning the product as part of its broader effort to make everyday healthcare more engaging and easier for children to incorporate into their routines.
Dr. Nihar Parekh said his experience in paediatric practice highlighted gaps in how families manage children’s everyday health needs, including areas such as growth, immunity, gut health and coughs and colds. Primerry is therefore focusing on child-specific formulations and delivery formats intended to improve usability while addressing parents’ concerns around trust.
Rushabh Nandu said conversations with parents pointed to demand for clean, non-medicated solutions for children’s everyday health needs. The company aims to combine this demand with formulation and sourcing standards that address parents’ priorities around efficacy and convenience, while also making products easier for children to use.
The startup’s go-to-market strategy has also evolved since its initial funding announcement. In March, RN Kids had said it planned to launch six products by the end of July through Amazon, Flipkart and its D2C website, followed by quick-commerce and offline retail. Under the Primerry brand, the company is now planning an eight-SKU portfolio with a phased D2C-first rollout, followed by quick commerce and offline distribution.
With eight products planned across categories including growth, immunity, gut health and respiratory support, Primerry is targeting the children’s healthcare and wellness segment with products designed specifically for children aged two to 14. The latest funding will support the company’s product development and expansion of its distribution network across India.
