Orange Health Labs, a diagnostics firm specializing in at-home testing services, has raised $12 million in a funding round led by the Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund.
Existing investors, including Accel, General Catalyst, Bertelsmann India Investments, and Y Combinator, also participated.
This follows a $25 million Series B round raised in June 2022, led by General Catalyst and Bertelsmann India Investments, and the introduction of an employee stock option plan and a $1 million equity buyback program later that year.
To date, the company has secured a total of $47 million in funding.

Founded in December 2020 by Dhruv Gupta and Tarun Bhambra, Orange Health provides diagnostic testing services across Bengaluru, Gurugram, Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad, operating six labs and collaborating with over 1,000 clinics. The company has served over 1 million customers.
The four metro cities where it operates account for 25% of India’s diagnostic market, according to Gupta.
The startup focuses on building dominance in these areas before planning further expansion to other metros and Tier-1 cities.
Orange Health has experienced threefold growth over the past two years and is projected to achieve 100% growth this year.
The firm recently crossed a ₹100 crore annual revenue run rate and achieved profitability in Bengaluru.
Established in April 2021, the Amazon Smbhav Venture Fund is a $250 million initiative to support Indian startups. Its portfolio includes companies such as The Good Glamm Group, Cashify, Fitterfly, and Smallcase.
The newly raised funds will be used to scale product offerings, enhance team capabilities, and drive innovation in the diagnostics sector.
