Mumbai-based digital-first creative agency One Hand Clap Media has secured a strategic investment from Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath.
While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the partnership signals a shared ambition to challenge conventional agency norms through bold, culturally relevant narratives.
Founded by Aakash Shah and Naveed Manakkodan, both former creatives at the widely acclaimed comedy collective AIB, One Hand Clap is known for its disruptive approach to brand communication. The agency combines agility with sharp storytelling to produce high-impact content that resonates across digital platforms.
“Nikhil gets our DNA, and our visions align. We’ve never cared for the status quo,” said Shah. Manakkodan added, “This partnership fuels our ambition to redefine the agency model and deliver authentic, high-impact storytelling at speed.”

Kamath’s backing comes at a time when brands are increasingly looking for storytelling that cuts through the noise and builds deeper connections with audiences. “In a world overwhelmed with content, what stands out is storytelling that is bold, fast, and rooted in culture,” he remarked.
One Hand Clap Media has built a notable client portfolio, having worked with leading brands such as Netflix India, Swiggy, BGMI, Bumble, EMotorad, Chetak, Prime Video India, CRED, and Ather. The agency specializes in ad film production, digital strategy, and content that blends creativity with cultural insight.
