Meta Fashion Raises $400K Pre-Seed Round Led by Lumikai

Digital fashion startup Meta Fashion has bagged nearly $400K in a pre-seed funding round led by Lumikai.

The round also saw participation from investors including Big Bets, Akshat Rathee, and Pratham Mittal.

The company will utilise the newly raised funds to grow its virtual fashion portfolio, expand its gaming IP GlamGirls, and increase its footprint across creator-driven gaming platforms.

Started in 2022 by Arjun Goel and Sanjay Goel, Meta Fashion develops digital wearables and accessories for metaverse and gaming platforms such as Roblox, Fortnite, and ZEPETO. Alongside virtual products, the startup also operates a phygital model that transforms popular in-game fashion items into physical merchandise for consumers.

The Delhi-based company uses an AI-powered system to track live fashion and gaming trends, helping it design and launch digital assets at scale. According to the startup, this technology improves product discovery and user engagement across virtual marketplaces.

Meta Fashion says it has sold over 2.5 million virtual fashion products on Roblox so far, generating around $300K in GMV while maintaining high gross margins.

Its in-house Roblox game GlamGirls, which entered beta testing in 2025, has already attracted more than 100K paying users. The platform claims a largely female audience, with a significant share of users belonging to the 18+ age group.

The startup has partnered with brands including Walmart to build immersive digital retail experiences within virtual environments. While Arjun leads creative and platform innovation, Sanjay oversees business operations and strategic growth.
