Strategic Capital Deployment: AI-First Curriculum & Ecosystem Scaling

Mesa School of Business plans to deploy the fresh capital across three key growth pillars:

  • AI-First Curriculum Integration: Embedding artificial intelligence tools, prompt engineering, and product development directly into business case studies and hands-on modules.
  • Programme Portfolio Expansion: Launching new specialized courses and scaling existing offerings beyond its current 550-student intake.
  • Ecosystem Partnerships: Strengthening active operator networks across India’s venture landscape to expand live project opportunities and internship pipelines.

“In an AI-driven world, what sets ambitious young leaders apart is judgment, a bias for action, and an understanding of how businesses operate – outcomes that come only from real execution,” noted Ankit Agarwal, Co-founder of Mesa School of Business.

Redefining Business Education for the Startup Ecosystem

Founded in 2023 by former startup operators Ankit Agarwal and Varun Limaye, Mesa School of Business operates out of Bengaluru. It provides practical, execution-first business education tailored to modern technology companies rather than traditional corporate structures.

Rather than relying purely on academic lectures, Mesa requires every student to build and run a small business, execute live startup problem statements, and build AI products. Over 100 startup founders have delivered sessions on campus, and students have completed more than 200 projects in collaboration with tech companies.

Placement Track Record & Venture Incubation

Graduates from Mesa’s initial postgraduate cohorts have secured placements across top-tier tech firms, including Zomato, Zepto, Urban Company, Scapia, and Comet.

Through its internal incubator, Mesa Startup Lab, the institution has incubated more than 40 student-led ventures. These ventures collectively generate over ₹20 crore in annual revenue run-rate and have raised funding from prominent investors including Nikhil Kamath, Ronnie Screwvala, and Campus Fund.
