Omnichannel agritech startup KisanKonnect has raised ₹72 crore ($8 million) in a Pre-Series A round led by Bajaj Finserv Group, with participation from Mistry Ventures, Desai Foods, Dhanuka Agritech, and Action Tessa family office.
The company said the fresh capital will be used to strengthen its technology stack and supply chain, expand its online and offline presence, and further deepen its farmer network.
Founded in 2020 by Vivek Nirmal and Nidhi Nirmal, KisanKonnect connects consumers directly with farmers through its app, website, and retail stores.
The startup offers 60-minute delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables in Mumbai and Pune, sourcing perishables directly from 5,000 farmers via village-level collection centres.
Its platform uses AI, IoT, and RFID-based tools to ensure traceability and enhance demand forecasting across more than 650 SKUs. Alongside online sales, KisanKonnect also operates offline outlets that bring fresh produce to urban neighbourhoods.

This is the company’s second fundraise in 2025. Earlier this year, it raised $4.5 million in a Series A round led by Mistry Ventures, following a $3.7 million Pre-Series A in 2024 from Green Frontier Capital, Dhanuka Agritech, and other backers.
Operating in India’s ₹7.5 lakh crore fruits and vegetables market, KisanKonnect aims to solve systemic challenges such as high wastage and fragmented supply chains.
