Mr. Prakash Khakhar father of Kaushal Khakhar established Kay Bee Exports as a sole proprietorship in 1989. It began with mangoes and has since expanded to include a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Kay Bee Exports’ CEO is Mr. Kaushal Khakhar.

Kaushal Khakhar was born in Mumbai and received his early education there as well. He then went on to earn a Commerce degree from Mumbai University. He began his career in the food industry after finishing his education by working for his father’s company, which was involved in the wholesale distribution of fresh produce. During this time, he learned a lot about the food industry and developed a strong interest in the export market.

It has its own farming operations, contract farming production that is tightly integrated, a fleet of 22 vehicles, its own freight forwarding and customs clearance operations, and a distribution company in the United Kingdom. Okra, Karela, Chillies, Dudhi, Curry Leaves, Mangoes, and Pomegranates are the most common products handled. Customers include European retail chains such as Tesco, Asda, Marks and Spencer, Waitrose, Morrisons, and Sainsbury’s.

Establishment of Kay Bee Exports:
Kay Bee Exports was founded in 1992 by Kaushal Khakhar along with a small team of dedicated professionals. Initially, the company concentrated on exporting mangoes to the United Kingdom. However, as time passed, the company expanded its operations and began exporting a diverse range of fruits and vegetables to countries all over the world.

Business Growth and Expansion:
Under the leadership of Kaushal Khakhar, Kay Bee Exports has grown significantly and is now one of the largest exporters of fresh fruits and vegetables from India. The company has a presence in more than 50 countries and has established strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and partners across the globe.

Recognition and Awards:
Kaushal Khakhar’s contribution to the food industry has been widely recognized, and he has received numerous awards and accolades in recognition of his outstanding work. He received the prestigious ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award at the Maharashtra State Export Excellence Awards in 2019.

At the Air Cargo India event, the company received an award. We were named winners in the category of Air Shipper of the Year – Perishables

Overall, Kaushal Khakhar’s journey has been marked by hard work, dedication, and an unwavering focus on quality and customer satisfaction, which has assisted him in establishing Kay Bee Exports as a global food industry leader.
