Hoola Health raises $5 Mn funding led by Peak XV’s Surge

Bengaluru-based paediatric healthcare startup Hoola Health has raised $5 million in a funding round led by Peak XV Partners’ Surge, with participation from existing investor W Health Ventures and angel investors including Ashish Gupta, Abhishek Goyal, and Bijou Kurien.

The fresh capital will be used to strengthen the company’s technology platform, expand its clinical network, and scale its integrated child healthcare model across India.

Founded in 2024 by Deeksha Senguttuvan, Hoola Health operates a network of child-focused healthcare centres offering paediatric consultations, vaccinations, diagnostics, developmental therapies, and specialist care.

The startup combines physical clinics with digital health tools that enable parents to maintain vaccination records, track growth milestones, access prescriptions, and monitor their child’s developmental progress.

The company recently rebranded from BabyMD to Hoola Health as part of its broader vision to build a comprehensive healthcare platform covering children’s preventive, developmental, and specialist care needs.

Within 18 months of launch, Hoola Health claims to have established five clinics and served more than 20,000 families. The company said that over 60% of new patients come through referrals, while repeat families contribute more than 60% of monthly visits.

According to the startup, developmental care services account for nearly 35% of its revenue, reflecting growing demand among parents for structured child development and therapy support alongside traditional paediatric care.

Hoola Health plans to expand its clinic network by opening 30 additional centres across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Delhi NCR over the next two years. The startup also aims to introduce additional specialties, including paediatric dental care, as it expands its healthcare offering.
