Honasa Consumer Appoints Shivang Jain as CEO of BTM Ventures

Honasa Consumer, the parent company of Mamaearth, has appointed Shivang Jain as the Chief Executive Officer of BTM Ventures, the company behind personal care brands Reginald Men and Molecular Company. The appointment marks the next phase of Honasa’s strategy to scale its men’s grooming and science-led beauty portfolio following its acquisition of a majority stake in BTM Ventures.

The leadership appointment comes after Honasa Consumer acquired a 90.5% stake in BTM Ventures in December 2025 for approximately ₹31 crore, expanding its portfolio of premium personal care brands.

As CEO of BTM Ventures, Shivang Jain will lead the company’s strategic direction, business operations, and long-term growth. He will focus on strengthening Reginald Men and Molecular Company through product innovation, brand expansion, operational excellence, and deeper consumer engagement.

Prior to his appointment, Shivang Jain served as Vice President – Corporate Strategy and Chief of Staff at Honasa Consumer, where he worked closely with co-founders Varun Alagh and Ghazal Alagh on corporate strategy, portfolio expansion, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, and key strategic initiatives.

Shivang Jain brings more than a decade of experience across corporate strategy, investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation. Before joining Honasa, he held leadership roles at Avendus CapitalEY, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. He is a postgraduate in management from XLRI Jamshedpur.

Commenting on the appointment, Varun Alagh, Co-founder and CEO of Honasa Consumer, said Shivang Jain has played an important role in shaping the company’s strategic growth and expressed confidence in his ability to build BTM Ventures into a stronger consumer business. Shivang Jain said he looks forward to scaling Reginald Men and Molecular Company while creating category-defining brands that deliver long-term value and earn consumer trust.

Founded in August 2022 by Trisha Reddy Talasani, BTM Ventures operates Reginald Men, a science-backed men’s grooming brand, and Molecular Company, a premium personal care label focused on high-performance skincare. The acquisition strengthened Honasa’s presence in specialised beauty and grooming categories and aligns with its broader house-of-brands strategy.

Founded in 2016 by Varun Alagh and Ghazal Alagh, Honasa Consumer has built a digital-first beauty and personal care portfolio comprising Mamaearth, The Derma Co., Aqualogica, Dr. Sheth’s, BBlunt, Staze, Ayuga, Lumineve, Reginald Men, and Molecular Company. The company has increasingly focused on expanding its portfolio through strategic acquisitions while strengthening operational efficiency and long-term profitable growth, with BTM Ventures expected to play a key role in that strategy.
