Foodtech unicorn Eternal (formerly Zomato) has announced the appointment of Aditya Mangla as the new Chief Executive Officer of its core food delivery business, the company disclosed in a regulatory filing on Saturday.
Aditya Mangla succeeds Rakesh Ranjan, who has completed a two-year term in the role. While Ranjan will step down from his designation as Senior Management Personnel (SMP), he will continue to remain associated with the company in a different capacity, Eternal confirmed.
The board approved Mangla’s appointment on July 6, and his tenure will span two years, according to the filing.
Aditya Mangla has been with Eternal since March 2021, having led multiple verticals across product, supply chain, and customer experience. Prior to joining Zomato (now Eternal), he held senior product and P&L leadership roles at several startups and technology-led businesses.
