CurvetAI Raises ₹6 Crore Pre-Seed Funding Led by Merak Ventures

Pune-based artificial intelligence startup CurvetAI has raised ₹6 crore (about $623,000) in a pre-seed funding round led by Merak Ventures, with participation from a group of angel investors.

The startup plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its engineering and technology infrastructure, expand its team and develop AI agent-based capabilities that can handle increasingly complex workflows.

Founded in December 2025 by Vivek Dubey and Utkarsh Gupta, CurvetAI is building an AI workspace that brings multiple AI models and capabilities onto a single platform. Users can work with models for text, images, audio and video, compare their outputs and combine different capabilities within the same workflow.

The company says its platform has crossed 100,000 monthly users globally, with India and the US among its largest markets. It has also started generating revenue and is being used by individuals, teams and educational institutions.

CurvetAI initially entered the market as a platform for discovering AI tools and prompts. The founders later shifted the product towards a workspace after finding that users still had to leave the platform to actually use the tools they discovered.

The shift was intended to address the gap between discovering an AI capability and executing a task with it. CurvetAI’s current platform allows users to access different models from one environment instead of moving between multiple applications.

The workspace is designed to let users compare outputs from different models and combine capabilities within a single project or workflow. This is aimed at users who may need different AI systems for different parts of the same task rather than relying on a single model.

A major focus of the new funding will be agent-based capabilities. CurvetAI plans to build systems that can handle more complex, multi-step workflows on behalf of users, moving beyond simply providing access to individual AI models.

“We believe that complexity should sit with the platform. As the number of specialised models grows, making AI genuinely useful will depend as much on choosing the right intelligence as on having access to it,” said Vivek Dubey, Co-founder and CEO, CurvetAI.

Beyond its core platform, CurvetAI has collaborations with AI model developers including GnaniAI, Rumik AI and Alibaba. The startup is also working with educational institutions across India.

For AI model developers, the company positions its platform as a distribution channel through which they can reach users, gather feedback and understand how their models are being used.
