Kitchen and lifestyle brand Cüraa has raised Rs 40 crore in a Series A funding round led by 3one4 Capital, with continued participation from existing investors Kae Capital, Lumikai and Better Capital.

The fresh capital will be used to expand Cüraa’s product portfolio across pre-cooking and cooking categories, strengthen its warehousing and supply-chain infrastructure, expand its presence across direct-to-consumer, marketplaces and quick commerce, and hire senior leadership across key functions. The round was advised by ValueBridge Capital, a Merisis company.

Founded by chef and content creator Sanjyot Keer and entrepreneur Neeraj Kumawat, Cüraa designs kitchen appliances and tools around the specific requirements of Indian cooking. The brand launched in September 2024 and has since served more than 3 lakh households, according to the company.

Cüraa said its monthly net revenue has grown 25 times since launch, while its products have an average rating of more than 4.5 and the company has recorded a Net Promoter Score of over 70. These are company-reported figures.

The company is also adding 25,000–30,000 customers every month, according to its latest funding update. It currently sells through its own website, Amazon, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart, with Amazon accounting for the largest share of its sales.

Cüraa’s portfolio includes kitchen appliances and tools such as choppers, blenders, hand mixers, kettles and induction cooktops, along with other kitchen products and accessories. The company positions its products around performance, usability, durability and designs tailored to Indian cooking habits.

The brand follows an India-first manufacturing approach, with most of the value addition taking place domestically while certain components are sourced from overseas to optimise costs and supply-chain efficiency.

Sanjyot Keer, who also founded the food-content platform Your Food Lab, has built a large consumer community around cooking. Cüraa is using insights from that community to develop products based on the specific challenges faced by Indian home cooks. Your Food Lab currently has more than 3.9 million Instagram followers, according to recent reports.

The company describes itself as a mass-premium cooking platform, combining high-performance kitchen tools with localised designs. 3one4 Capital said the investment reflects its view that the kitchen-products market is moving from legacy commodity retail towards more product-led brands focused on consumer needs.
