Developer productivity startup CodeKarma has raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Prosus, Accel, and Xeed Ventures.
The round also saw participation from SenseAI Ventures and Stargazer Ventures.
The Bengaluru-based startup plans to use the capital to expand into global markets, particularly the US enterprise segment, and to strengthen its AI-native platform infrastructure. A portion of the funds will also support strategic hiring across product and engineering functions.
Founded in 2025 by Ananth Vanchi, CodeKarma helps engineering teams and AI systems improve software quality by embedding live production insights directly into development workflows. Its platform enables developers to detect risks, remove redundant code, and create a continuous feedback loop for cleaner, smarter software.

CodeKarma’s product is designed for fast-growing verticals like e-commerce, fintech, and logistics, where managing large, evolving codebases and ensuring high reliability is critical. Unlike traditional observability tools, CodeKarma integrates deployment-grounded intelligence directly into developer tools such as IDEs.
With the fresh capital, CodeKarma aims to become the go-to platform for self-improving, autonomous software systems that continuously learn, optimize, and deliver higher code quality at scale.
