Circle Raises ₹25 Crore in Seed Funding Led by Nexus Venture Partners
The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand beyond Bengaluru, strengthen its AI-powered pricing and product verification capabilities, and scale its Trust Hubs and logistics network.

Bengaluru-based pre-owned commerce startup Circle has raised ₹25 crore in a seed funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners. Existing investors Titan Capital and Myntra co-founder Raveen Sastry also participated, while Delhivery COO Ajith Pai joined as an angel investor.
The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand beyond Bengaluru, strengthen its AI-powered pricing and product verification capabilities, and scale its Trust Hubs and logistics network.
About Circle
Founded in 2025 by Chirag Kataruka and Ankit Misra, Circle operates a managed consumer-to-consumer (C2C) marketplace that facilitates transactions between individual buyers and sellers. Its platform supports product discovery, verification, payments, pickup and delivery without owning the inventory.
Circle aims to simplify pre-owned commerce by addressing common challenges around product quality, pricing, payments and logistics. Its platform covers categories including smartphones, gaming consoles, cameras, furniture, watches, handbags and sneakers.
The startup combines AI-assisted listing and pricing tools with human verification and logistics support. By managing key stages of a transaction, Circle seeks to offer a more convenient alternative to traditional classifieds platforms.
The company says it facilitated approximately ₹25 crore in pre-owned goods sales within about a year of launch, attracted more than one million visitors and generated 100,000 listings in Bengaluru. These are company-reported figures and should not be interpreted as audited revenue or independently verified performance metrics.
The latest funding follows Circle’s ₹3.4 crore pre-seed round announced in November 2025, led by Titan Capital with participation from Raveen Sastry. Across the two publicly reported rounds, the startup has raised ₹28.4 crore.
Expansion Beyond Bengaluru
A key priority following the seed round is geographic expansion. Circle plans to enter additional Indian cities while investing in the technology and operational infrastructure required to support its managed marketplace model.
The company will also focus on AI-powered pricing and product discovery. These tools are intended to help sellers price products more effectively, simplify listings and enable buyers to find relevant items more easily.
Another priority is expanding its product verification capabilities and Trust Hub network. These facilities support product checks and transaction fulfilment, helping Circle build confidence among buyers and sellers.
The startup also plans to strengthen its logistics operations to improve pickup and delivery. However, scaling these services across multiple cities will require Circle to balance customer convenience with verification and fulfilment costs.
What’s Next for Circle
Circle’s next phase will focus on replicating its Bengaluru traction in new markets while maintaining reliable product verification and efficient logistics.
The company operates in a competitive pre-owned goods market that includes OLX India, Quikr, Cashify and FreeUp. Its differentiation lies in managing more of the transaction process rather than simply connecting buyers and sellers through listings.
