Mumbai-based childcare platform HireForCare made a strong impression during its pitch on Shark Tank India Season 4, Episode 33.

Co-founded by Rajat Vij and Ram Niwas, the startup provides specialized caregiving solutions for children with neurological disabilities through a digital platform connecting parents with certified and verified nannies.

The founders sought ₹36 lakh for 3% equity, valuing the company at ₹12 crore.

Their heartfelt pitch, rooted in personal experiences, highlighted the platform’s potential for social impact.

Rajat, a single parent of a child with cerebral palsy, and Ram, who tragically lost his wife in a car accident just 20 days before the Shark Tank shoot, shared how their challenges inspired them to build a support system for families raising children with special needs.

The investment was backed by all five Sharks—Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, Kunal Bahl, Aman Gupta, and Peyush Bansal.

Founded in March 2021, HireForCare caters to diverse caregiving needs, offering categories such as Japa Nanny, Night Nanny, Special Care Nanny, and more.

The platform specializes in supporting children with conditions like Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Down Syndrome, and Global Developmental Delay, alongside offering online therapy services.
