Bengaluru-based edtech startup Arivihan has raised $4.17 million in a Pre-Series A round co-led by Prosus and Accel, with participation from GSF Investors. The round comes on the heels of Arivihan’s earlier backing from Accel Atoms.

The fresh capital will be used to deepen the company’s AI capabilities, add more regional language support, and strengthen marketing and distribution as it scales to three additional states across India.

Founded in 2024 by Ritesh Singh Chandel, Sonu Kumar, and Rushabh Kothari, Arivihan offers a fully AI-powered, personalized learning platform focused on students from tier II cities and rural areas. The platform delivers automated coaching through interactive video content, AI-generated study plans, and real-time doubt-solving.

The company claims over 150 students have scored above 90% in Class 12 board exams, including 4 in state top 10 lists, and reports a 42% average improvement in academic performance within 30 days. It supports curricula like NEET, CBSE, and state boards and operates on a pricing model of ₹300 per student per month.

Arivihan is part of Accel’s Atoms 3.0 accelerator cohort and competes with players like ConveGenius, iPrep, Embibe, and Vedantu in India’s growing AI-enabled education market. Its goal: put a personal AI tutor in every student’s pocket.
