Bengaluru-based defence-tech startup Ammunic Systems has secured $1.1 million in a seed funding round co-led by India Accelerator and its venture capital arm, Finvolve.
With the fresh capital, the company plans to scale up product development, expand its team, enhance manufacturing infrastructure, and invest further in research and development. The goal is to deliver smarter and more secure defence solutions tailored for India’s evolving military needs.
Founded in September 2024 by Priyanka Singhal, Ammunic Systems specializes in advanced electronic fuzes, warheads, and munition integration technologies. The startup aims to develop next-generation weapon systems that are safe, self-reliant, and innovation-driven—supporting India’s broader vision of defence modernization under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

Speaking on the investment, the founders emphasized their mission to position India as a global leader in defence innovation through precision-engineered and fully indigenous technologies.
India Accelerator and Finvolve, who have previously backed defence-tech ventures like IG Drones, Indrajaal, and Zulu Defence, said the investment in Ammunic further strengthens their portfolio and supports India’s strategic focus on domestic defence capabilities.
