Premium fitness and wellness chain Vault by Virat Kohli has brought Virat Kohli and his brother Vikas Kohli on board as equity investors, with the duo collectively acquiring a 28% stake in the company. The move deepens the Kohli family’s involvement in the business as the brand accelerates its nationwide expansion.

The investment is expected to support Vault’s franchise-led growth strategy, enabling the company to expand its footprint across India while strengthening its presence in the premium fitness and wellness segment.

Founded in 2023 by Mukesh GogiaVault by Virat Kohli was launched with the Indian cricketer as its strategic partner and brand ambassador. The Delhi-based fitness chain offers an integrated approach to health and wellness, combining strength training, functional fitness, recovery, nutrition, and performance-focused coaching under one roof.

Its centres feature equipment from international fitness brands including MatrixTorque USA, and Precor, alongside dedicated recovery zones powered by Hyperice, offering services designed to support muscle recovery, rehabilitation, and athletic performance.

Vault currently operates fitness centres across Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Gorakhpur and plans to expand further through a franchise-led model, with a particular focus on Tier II and Tier III cities, where demand for organised premium fitness facilities continues to grow.

According to the company, Vault currently serves more than 30,000 members and aims to operate over 50 clubs by the end of the year, with facilities ranging between 6,000 sq. ft. and 25,000 sq. ft. depending on the market.

The investment also expands Virat Kohli’s growing portfolio of consumer and lifestyle ventures. In addition to One8, his lifestyle brand spanning fashion, fragrances, restaurants, and wellness, Kohli has backed several businesses across sports, health, and technology, reflecting increasing interest among athletes in building long-term consumer brands beyond their sporting careers.
