Ubiqedge Raises Rs 10 Cr Seed Round Led by Piper Serica

AIoT startup Ubiqedge has raised ₹10 crore in a seed funding round led by Piper Serica, with participation from Atomberg co-founder Shibam Das and entrepreneur-investor Sumit Chhazed.

The company said the fresh capital will be used to enhance its AI capabilities, expand deployments across industrial sectors, and grow its ecosystem of OEM and system integration partners.

Founded in 2024 by Visat PatelArchit Khandelwal, Akhilesh Thorat, and Hetvi Shah, Ubiqedge is building an AIoT operating system for industrial infrastructure. Its offering combines a proprietary hardware platform, KLEON, with its AI software layer, SAMASTH, enabling enterprises to monitor, control, and optimise physical infrastructure in real time.

The platform is currently deployed across sectors such as water management, solar energy, air quality monitoring, and construction, helping enterprises automate operations and improve compliance through real-time insights.

Ubiqedge claims to have digitised over 23,000 borewells and reduced issue resolution timelines by more than 80% through its infrastructure monitoring solutions.

“Across industries, we continue to see massive inefficiencies in water, energy, and infrastructure operations due to the lack of real-time intelligence,” said Visat Patel, Co-founder and CEO of Ubiqedge. “This fundraise reinforces our belief that industrial infrastructure is the next major frontier for technology-led transformation.”

“Being profitable from our first year validates that we are solving large and critical operational challenges,” he added. “With this capital, we plan to strengthen the platform, expand deployments, and accelerate adoption across industrial use cases.”

With this funding, Ubiqedge aims to scale adoption of its AIoT stack as enterprises increasingly invest in automation and data-driven infrastructure management.

The startup operates in the fast-evolving industrial IoT and AIoT segment, where companies such as Zenatix and Altizon Systems are also building solutions for smart infrastructure and industrial automation.
