Two Words Away, a startup focused on streamlining event management, recently featured on Shark Tank India, where founder Sanchit Garg pitched an innovative solution to the inefficient coordination of private events.
During the pitch, the founder showcased a platform designed to simplify the guest experience and host logistics. The service’s “hero feature” includes unique 2-word event IDs and shareable links that replace complex URLs. The platform further enhances event security and communication through password-protected access, automated notification updates, and automated invites, allowing hosts to create dedicated communities around their gatherings.
Entering the Tank, Sanchit initially sought ₹10 lakhs for 10% equity, valuing the company at ₹1 crore.
The brand aims to solve the chaos of private event planning with a user-friendly interface. Beyond the standard free features, the startup offers a Pro Subscription priced at ₹99 per month, which unlocks custom 2-word event IDs and access to a community feed. Interestingly, the founder noted that the motivation behind his entrepreneurial journey was inspired by Signify, a device that converts sign language into English speech in real-time.
Two Words Away has already demonstrated early traction, having hosted 20–25 events with a total of 150 attendees. Looking ahead, the startup is projecting a significant growth spurt, aiming for 600–700 Daily Active Users (DAU) by January 2026. The founder plans to utilize the fresh capital for team expansion and an aggressive college outreach program to capture the youth market.
After evaluating the platform’s utility and the projected scalability of the subscription model, a deal was successfully closed. Investors Kunal Bahl, Mohit Yadav, and Pratham Mittal teamed up to provide the full ask. They invested ₹10 lakhs for 10% equity, valuing Two Words Away at ₹1 crore.
