SportVot Raises Rs 32.7 Crore Funding Led by IAN Alpha Fund

Mumbai-based sports streaming and technology platform SportVot has raised ₹32.7 crore in a fresh funding round led by IAN Alpha Fund.

The round also saw participation from Anicut Capital, LetsVenture, Capital A, SucSEED Innovation, Garima Vohra, Gaurav Chanana, and other investors.

The company plans to deploy the capital towards accelerating international expansion and enhancing its AI-powered broadcasting and content distribution stack, as it scales its grassroots sports streaming ecosystem globally.

Founded in 2019 by Sidhhant Agarwal, Shubhangi Gupta, and Yash Bhagwatkar, SportVot operates a digital infrastructure platform for sports organisers, enabling live streaming, production, analytics, and athlete discovery across amateur and grassroots sporting events.

Its cloud-based production suite allows organisers to stream matches with professional overlays, automated highlights, multi-camera setups, and live scoring features. In parallel, its OTT platform helps distribute content directly to fans and viewers.

SportVot claims to have streamed over 5 lakh matches across 30+ countries, reaching an audience base of more than 100 million viewers. The platform is also seeing growing traction across international markets, including North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.

The startup follows a multi-revenue model, offering production and streaming solutions to tournament organisers, leagues, and sports associations, while also generating revenue through subscriptions, pay-per-view access, and advertising partnerships.

SportVot had previously raised ₹9.4 crore in a pre-Series A round led by Omidyar Network India in 2024.

The company competes with platforms like CricHeroes and FanCode in India’s growing sports-tech and grassroots sports ecosystem.
