Bengaluru-based enterprise AI startup QwikBuild has raised $2.3 million (around ₹22 crore) in pre-seed funding in a round led by Globalway, a publicly listed Japanese technology company.

Blume Ventures, DeVC and Marsshot also participated, along with angel investors Lalit Keshre, founder of Groww, and Ankit Nagori, CEO of Curefoods.

The fresh capital will primarily support QwikBuild’s go-to-market expansion, including setting up a team in the US and expanding operations across Southeast Asia.

Alongside the funding, QwikBuild and Globalway have entered into a capital and business partnership to expand the platform in Japan. Globalway has agreed to invest $500,000 in Snow Mountain AI, QwikBuild’s parent company, and the two companies plan to establish a joint venture in Japan. The proposed JV is expected to be owned 70% by Globalway and 30% by Snow Mountain AI after the planned capital contributions.

About QwikBuild

Founded in 2025 by Pradeep Ayyagari, a former Slice executive, QwikBuild develops enterprise software and AI agents designed to help businesses build and deploy customised applications.

The platform uses multiple AI agents to support the software development process, including requirements definition, application development, testing, security checks and deployment. Globalway describes QwikBuild as a platform through which business teams can develop operational systems through interaction with AI agents without requiring specialised programming knowledge.

Businesses can use QwikBuild to build applications from scratch, modernise legacy systems or add custom software layers to existing enterprise platforms such as SAP and Salesforce. The company says its approach focuses on encoding business processes and decisions into software rather than automating individual tasks alone.

QwikBuild says it currently serves more than 100 enterprises across India, Southeast Asia, the US and Dubai. According to Inc42, around 10–12% of its customers are large enterprises, while about 30% are smaller businesses using the platform without dedicated technology teams. These figures are company-reported.

What’s Next for QwikBuild?

QwikBuild plans to use the new funding to strengthen its go-to-market operations in the US and Southeast Asia, while the Globalway partnership will support its entry into Japan.

The proposed Japanese joint venture, currently planned for establishment in December 2026, is expected to receive an exclusive licence to sell, implement and support QwikBuild for Japanese-headquartered companies and their overseas operations.

The partnership is designed to give QwikBuild access to Globalway’s existing and prospective enterprise customers in Japan. The companies are targeting Japanese businesses that need to develop or modify operational software while reducing dependence on traditional software development teams and vendors.
