PeakAmp, a startup focused on battery circularity, has raised ₹12 crore (about $1.37 million) in a seed funding round led by Caret Capital, with additional backing from IIM Ahmedabad Ventures, Basant Sharma and Group, and other clean-tech and circular economy investors.
The funding will be deployed to scale operations, enhance technology infrastructure, and expand strategic partnerships across the battery lifecycle, including collection, second-life repurposing, and high-purity material recovery.
PeakAmp aims to bridge India’s eightfold shortfall in battery recycling capacity, supporting the growth of a circular economy and cleaner energy transition.
Founded in 2024 by Vijay Gond and Aditya Sudhanshu, PeakAmp is building India’s first full-stack, tech-enabled solution for end-of-life EV battery management.
The platform handles safe collection, segregation, disassembly, second-life repurposing, and recovery of critical metals like lithium, nickel, and copper with over 99% efficiency.
